Cybersecurity for your Business Workshop

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and we have teamed up with CoLab to put together a short Lunch and Learn presentation on Wednesday, October 6 at 12 p.m.

Many small business owners have misconceptions about protecting their business online. There are misconceptions that cyberattacks only happen to large corporations, that cybersecurity is complicated, or it’s expensive. Imagineering is here to bust these myths as we take you through the basics of today’s cybersecurity threats and how to protect yourself and your business in an increasingly online world.

Throughout the presentation, Imagineering will cover basic cybersecurity questions, such as:

  • What is cybersecurity?
  • Which cyber threats can affect my business?
  • Why do I need cybersecurity?
  • How can I keep my information safe online?

This 60-minute presentation will take place in person at CoLab in downtown Eau Claire. In addition to the presentation, there will be time for questions at the end. Participants will receive a checklist of seven areas of your business that you should prioritize to keep it secure online.

A light lunch will be provided by Northwestern Bank.
