New name, unmatched set of productivity tools.
As of April 21, 2020, Microsoft’s productivity suite has been branded to Microsoft 365. The goal of the new naming convention is to provide a single productivity platform that’s complete for customers.
The change from Office 365 to Microsoft 365 does not have much of an immediate impact on current subscribers — the only difference is the name.
Each Microsoft 365 subscription package includes familiar applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as various levels of services such as Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
